Chicago Fire fans are in for a treat! Taylor Kinney, who has portrayed Kelly Severide since the show’s first episode, recently shared a playful behind-the-scenes moment from Season 14 that had fans laughing.
In an August 2025 Instagram video, Kinney was seen in the front seat of a firetruck. Just as the truck’s horn blared, Severide made a hilariously exaggerated face, breaking the tension and giving fans a glimpse of the lighter side of Firehouse 51.
The caption read:
“Severide. Squad. All in sync for Season 14 #ChicagoFire”
Fans responded enthusiastically, enjoying the chance to see their favorite firefighter being silly off-camera.

He also expressed gratitude for being part of a long-running series:
“It’s never lost on me how special it is to be a part of something with the longevity this has. It’s a testament to Dick Wolf and the team of people he puts together.”
