Following the brazen attack on the Dutton family that concluded season 3, Beth takes an interest in a 14-year-old boy when visiting her father at the hospital. With no one to care for him, Beth takes the child home to Rip (Hauser) where the two attempt to raise him as their own. Although her experiment does not go as smoothly as she has hoped, Beth’s grows closer to Rip and the two wed in an impromptu ceremony on the ranch.
In a recent interview with EW, Reilly and Hauser share how marriage changes Beth and Rip in Yellowstone season 5. Reilly explained that the marriage will not change Beth as the actor stated that her character’s feelings have never wavered in regard to Rip. However, Hauser revealed that Rip’s life has changed rather significantly as he is now officially part of the Dutton family and has moved into the Dutton family home. Read what the actors said below:
Will Beth & Rip Stay Together In Yellowstone Season 5?

Reilly and Hauser’s comments indicate that Beth and Rip fans have little to fear in regard to their relationship. Although Hauser admits that Beth will face challenges that will peripherally affect Rip in some way, he is a devoted partner to Beth and will always be there to help her through whatever she needs. However, it is Rip who may need the most support as he will need to adjust to living in the Dutton family home.
Rip has struggled since he was very young. He was taken in by John after Rip killed his own father who had just murdered his brother and mother. As a man who is generally emotionally isolated, Beth has been the only one who had managed to crack Rip’s tough exterior. Moving into the large Dutton home will be something that will take Rip some time to get used to. With Yellowstone season 5 set to premiere November 13, audiences will not have to wait much longer to see Beth and Rip back together again.
