I have a lot of respect for them. So I don’t know,” she said, adding, “I think it’s an open-ended question, if the conversations happen. But there’s always an open door with Gabby, and I think that’s the way it should be.”

Raymund’s love for her Chicago Fire family is evident, and while there are no official plans for her return, it’s clear that she values the time she spent as part of the squad at Firehouse 51.

Could Raymund Direct an Episode of Chicago Fire?

“I don’t know, actually,” she responded thoughtfully. “I’m open to it. It might be like too much of a party. [Laughs] I might not be able to focus. I’d just want to hang out with my friends.”

Given the strong bonds Raymund has with the cast and crew, it’s no surprise that the thought of working alongside them again would feel more like a reunion than a typical workday. However, it’s clear that finding the right balance with her busy schedule, particularly with her current role in Hightown, could make that decision a bit more complicated.

With Hightown set to premiere, Raymund’s plate is certainly full, making her return to Chicago Fire unlikely in the immediate future.
