Yellowstone fans are buzzing after CBS confirmed seven actors joining the upcoming spin-off Y: Marshals. The casting news revealed returning franchise stars alongside fresh faces stepping into key roles for the new series.

episode. Executive producers include Taylor Sheridan, David C. Glasser, and Ron Burkle, with Paramount Global Content Distribution handling the release. The series follows Luke Grimes‘ Kayce Dutton as he joins an elite unit of U.S. Marshals in Montana.

Gil Birmingham will reprise his role as Thomas Rainwater in Y: Marshals. He has been part of Taylor Sheridan’s franchise since Yellowstone, where he portrayed the Broken Rock chief. His most recent credits include Poker Face.

Brecken Merrill reprises his role as Tate Dutton, Kayce’s son. He appeared in Yellowstone throughout its run and also featured in This Is Us and the indie film Lifeline.

Mo Brings Plenty
Mo Brings Plenty reprises his role as Mo, Thomas Rainwater’s trusted advisor. This will mark his third Taylor Sheridan series following Yellowstone and Lawmen: Bass Reeves.

Arielle Kebbel
Arielle Kebbel takes on the role of Belle, a U.S. Marshal. She previously featured in Rescue: HI-Surf and Ballers, and she will appear in I Can Only Imagine 2 in 2026.

Ash Santos
Ash Santos portrays Andrea, another member of the Marshals unit. She appeared in Netflix’s Pulse and Taylor Sheridan’s Mayor of Kingstown.

Tatanka Means
Tatanka Means portrays Miles, also serving as a U.S. Marshal. His credits include Killers of the Flower Moon, Echo, and Horizon: An American Saga.

Brett Cullen
Brett Cullen will recur as Harry Gifford, head of the U.S. Marshals in Montana. Cullen’s career includes appearances in Apollo 13, Joker, The Long Game, and Netflix’s Ransom Canyon.
